Beretta
SV10 Prevail III Sporting
Following the very successful launch of the new Beretta SV.10 Prevail Sporting earlier this year GMK Ltd is pleased to announce the introduction of two new models for the 2010 season - the SV10 Prevail Sporting 32" (with or without the Kick-Off recoil reduction system fitted) and the new SV10 Prevail "Gamescene" Sporting which will be offered in two barrel lengths - 28" or 30", with or without Kick-off.The 32" version has been introduced due to a specific demand from clay shooters whilst the gamescene version, which is elegantly adorned with a classic engraving, offers a fresh alternative for the competition shooter who desires a touch of individuality. GMK Ltd is also pleased to confirm that both of these new variations are offered at no additional cost.Features of the SV10 Prevail:- An all new action shape; retaining the characteristic Beretta shallow style but with even stronger lock-up between barrels and receiver.- A new ejection system designed to eject a broad variety of cartridge brass heights faultlessly. By means of a simple adjustment, the gun can also be set to manual extraction using a selector which is easily accessed by simply removing the forend.- SV.10 barrels are extremely strong and feature a new internal Optima-Boreâ„¢ high performance (Optimaboreâ„¢ HP) profile with longer forcing cones. This technology improves patterning and also contributes to a reduction in felt recoil, while the proprietary Optima-Chokeâ„¢ HP choke tubes improve the density and distribution of the pattern.- The forend iron boasts a patented internal mechanism that maintains a constant barrel-receiver-iron fit. In practical terms, this means you get a smooth and constant pressure when the gun is opened and the barrels drop from the action.Other important innovations include the patented Quick Take Down Stock (Q-Stockâ„¢), which allows the stock to be removed quickly through the pistol grip cap (no need to remove the recoil pad). Once the stock is removed, the trigger group is easily removed for maintenance and cleaning. Beretta's unique Kick-Offâ„¢ recoil reduction mechanism significantly reduces the felt recoil by up to 70 percent and is an optional extra.
