The Sako 90 Peak is one of the lightest bolt action rifles on the market. Built on a renewed Carbonlight platform, it is the perfect tool for situations where weight is an issue, such as hill stalking. This ultra-light hunting rifle features a carbon fibre stock with a texturized surface, a right-hand palm swell and cheek support. With an approximate weight of 2.6 kg, the 90 Peak with S-action is exceptionally comfortable to carry, even on long treks. Left hand specification is available, as well as different action lengths.

The 90 is the latest evolution of the legendary Sako platform. Considered by many to have the smoothest bolt operation available in a production rifle. 

Action: The three locking lugs provide an ultra-secure lock up. Once fired the ejector claw and new double plunger ensures faultless ejection of the cartridge to ensure a fast re-load. The ejection port has also been re-shaped for even more reliable ejection.  
Trigger: Whilst maintaining the legendary Sako crispness and consistency, the Sako 90 features a new trigger with an incredible 1.3 millisecond lock time. It can be easily adjusted, by means of an Torx key, to 5 ‘clickable’ weight settings and is also adjustable for length of pull.  
Mounting System: Any Sako 90 receiver on synthetic or carbon stocks features a split picatinny base integrally machined. For wood variants, a 17mm Optilock mount is fitted for a clearer picture, should you decide you favour open sights.
Barrel: New technologies allow for new barrel profiles which maintain rigidity whilst minimising weight. Carbon wrapped barrels deliver significantly lower weight. Twist rates have also been changed to optimise accuracy with modern bullets. 
Stock: A huge variety of new stocks are available in both traditional and modern materials. High grip surfaces and multiple adjustments deliver fantastic flexibility.
